Tightrope walker falls 650 feet above ground - Survives

When you think of death-defying acts, tightrope walking is right up there with BASE-jumping and bungee jumping for most people. Most of the time, we hear only about the successful attempts, but the occasional fall also makes headlines.

The current tightrope walking video that has people talking features famed Chinese acrobat Aisikaier attempting to walk a 2,200-foot wire stretched above a 650-foot deep ravine. But, Aisikaier was not successful in his attempt, because he slipped and fell.

Aisikaier, who is a sixth-generation tightrope walker, attempted the feat while walking backward and blindfolded. Surprisingly, he suffered only minor injuries in the fall and is seen walking around after landing on the ground. He later said he fell because of the wind and from feeling faint before the walk. Aisikaier holds the Guinness world record for fastest tightrope walk over 325 feet.

L.A Politician Says - Justin Bieber Should Be Arrested

He got pulled over on Highway 101 after Dennis Zine, LA councilman, called 911 accusing him for speeding over 100MPH and says he should have been arrested for driving too dangerous.

 On his morning commute to City Hall, Zine, who spent 33 years as a police officer, said he saw Bieber's sports car drive up behind him and zoom around him, weaving wildly in and out of traffic while five or six other cars gave chase.

Zine estimated the chase exceeded 100 mph as paparazzi engaged in wild maneuvers to keep up with Bieber, including driving on the shoulder and cutting off other vehicles.

With a total of 76 goals scored at UEFA EURO 2012, the official tournament charity, the Centre for Access to Football in Europe (CAFE) will receive €228,000 as a donation from UEFA.

Every goal scored at UEFA EURO 2012 has brought cheers of delight from the official tournament charity, the Centre for Access to Football in Europe (CAFE).

UEFA pledged to donate €3,000 for each goal in Poland and Ukraine – and with the ball finding the net 76 times, CAFE have received €228,000 to help fund their work to improve access and facilities for disabled fans at football matches.

As part of the Respect programme at UEFA EURO 2012, UEFA has been working in conjunction with CAFE to manage separate Respect Inclusion initiatives, and football supporters and other interested parties are being encouraged to donate money.
